Bayern Munich Munich's Philipp Lahm
Bayern Muncih will be without captain Philipp Lahm in
Saturday's Bundesliga game away to Hoffenheim due to illness, coach
Pep Guardiola said Friday.
Lahm misses out due to a stomach bug and joins an extensive injury
list in the team which currently includes Franck Ribery, Arjen
Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger and David Alaba.
However, there is better news for Guardiola as Mario Goetze and Xabi
Alonso have recovered from injuries to be available.
On Thursday Bayern Munich doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt quit
the club, claiming the medical department had been unfairly blamed
for Wednesday's Champions League loss in Porto.
Bayern currently lead the Bundesliga by 10 points from Wolfsburg
while Hoffenheim are seventh and chasing a place in the Europa
League.
